Up for auction is a 1953 chevorlet custom woodie delivery. It was purchased several years back just as you see it as advertising and to take to shows and such and its been fun but getting old and  its time to thin the herd so this is one of a few that get to go to a new home.
The 53 is powered by what apears to be the rebuilt original 6 cylinder engine there are new gaskets showing thruout and it runs awesome with no knocks or smoking and has 40+ pounds of oil pressure. it starts right up and runs smooth enough ive actually hit the starter button a time or two when it was running. it does not run hot , runs 185 for the most part may get to 200 in dead traffic stopped but goes right back down to 185.
It has a later model aluminum case standard transmission( my guess is from a s10) that shifts smoth and has no issues . combined with a late model 10 bolt rear end ,(also from s10 i think) it has awesome take off and has no problem tooling down the highway at the speed limit at a managable 2000-3000 rpm depending on mph.
its ffront suspension has been upgraded to mustang II type independent ffront with rack and pinion steering and disc brakes. it has an awesome stance but without the need to grit your teeth going over speed bumps it has plenty of ground clearance and has no issues with bumps and it actually handles and corners quite well and much better compared to what they drove like when new.
The paint is fair with some imperfections here and there not show quality but very presentable and is a pastel cream color with the home built wood work and tan vynal top, its an eye catcher and not once have i not had a conversation with someone just stopping to put a little gas in it .The glass appears to be new the interior is wood as well and the seat is leather.It has original guages along with complete aftermarket set including fuel gauge. spedo works but is about 12 mph slow reading , im guessing because of the trans/diff upgrage.  It also comes with a new dash structure that has been hydrodipped in wood grain still in the box. there is also some matching wood included to do lower parts of doors under the fabric that i always wanted to do.

A 1000.00$ deposit is required  within 24 hrs of auction end and ballance due with in 7 days no exceptions it can stay here and secured untill you arange shipping  or come get it with in a reasonable time period.   If you would prefer to fly in and drive home i will be glad to pick up at Sanantonio or Austin Texas air port with a little notice.
UPON COMPLETION OF SALE THE LETTERS WILL BE REMOVED FROM SIDES STATING BUSINESS NAME… i can leave part of it like the head and maybe the word club but the  word humidor will be removed unless you can make a word you want to leave using part of it like club humble or club hummer… if you need to talk to me contact me and i will give you my number . happy bidding
