All pages show some worm holes, toning, tanning to the pages.
Review scans and photos.
Pages will arrive individually sleeved in acid-free art archival quality sleeve with backing board.
These were recently removed from their frames.
Each page is loose and not matted or affixed to the board.
Reverse of the prints may show some light surface abrasions where they were affixed to the original dealer’s matting.
Pages from Hokusai Manga “Random Sketches” Pages are from an antique volume of Hokusai’s works.
Pages have holes where they were originally bound. Page numbers on the border.
Chips to the edges of the pages. Paper is not brittle, but very delicate.
2 of the pages featuring yokai and mythological figures was joined together. When viewed from the reverse, you can see the page numbers/border.
For reference, The MET (Metropolitan Museum of Art online) has a bound book entitled Random Sketches by Hokusai with examples of pages within this offered lot.

Joined pages featuring yokai and mythological creatures: 8.75 inches vertical height; 12.5 inch horizontal length (22.2 cm x 31.75 cm)
Smaller half sheets: 8.75 inch; 6.5 inch (22.2 cm x 16.51 cm)
